Nancy Bio

A piano & music theory teacher in Montreal.

Nancy Yinan Zhao, a pianist, a musician, lives in Montreal, Canada, was born in Shanghai, China. Nancy achieved her ABRSM piano performance diploma in 2015 and finished her bachelor's degree in music composition at Concordia University in 2018. Nancy is an RCM certified piano teacher.

Nancy's been playing piano for 20+ years and has quite much experience in piano teaching. Back then in China, Nancy focused on ABRSM piano system pedagogy  (The Association Board of the Royal Schools of Music). Now in Canada, Nancy has multi-strategies of piano teaching. Moreover, Nancy pays much attention to the RCM piano system, which is the main piano exam system in Canada and in the world. Many of Nancy's students have achieved high results in piano performance and theory exams, as well as music competitions.
